Olive Jones

Olive Jones is one of the most well known Mochdre residents. She has taught
countless children how to swim over the past 30 years or so, and has become prominent in her own field,
culminating in being recognised as “UK Sportswoman of the Year in 1989″

For many years, Olive used to pick me up three evenings a week for training at Rydal School
Pool and would also take me to swimming galas all over North Wales.
